Answers To Some Common Questions…

OK, here are some interesting situations that I think you'll be able to relate to.

We all hear about how important it is to get bees removed as soon as they arrive, right?

Well, I’m going to take a minute and answer four important questions that I’ve been getting UP FRONT, because I realize that you may be in a hurry, and just need a quick question clarified:

“If There Are Bees Inside
My House, Will They Attack Me?”

ANSWER: No. In fact, the ONLY thing bees care about when they're inside your home will be your windows.

There are two main reasons for this:

First, the light shining-in through your windows will attract them everytime

Since MOST structures are naturally “porous”... bees will be able to find all kinds of cracks and holes to wiggle through. Usually, the chimney-hole is most common. They fly in on one end(chimney-hole)... and come out the other (fireplace).

On the other hand, if you don't know how, or where, they're getting in at... it's okay... bees become very docile and passive when they're disconnected from their colony.

Second, if they JUST got there (like today), then you probably have “scout bees” just checking out your place to see if they like it.

Now, all of that might sound a bit odd to you, don't worry... scout bees are only temporary. They come... and then they go.

IMPORTANT:If your bee problem is beyond your control and you'd like to get it removed by a specialist... the estimate to remove them is completely free, all you have to do is schedule it. You can do that here:

Is There Really A Honeybee Shortage?”

ANSWER: No, not likely.

But here’s my take: About every 20-years or so… commercial bee-keepers have documented a decrease in hive population.

BUT, twenty-years ago did we have the internet?

NO, we did not.

But news. Ah, the news.

News is one of the FEW things that cannot be avoided when anyone starts “surfing the net”.

But WHERE you get your news makes all the difference.

To set the record straight: If you REALLY want to prove it to yourself whether or not there’s an actual “bee shortage”, go into your cupboards... grab some honey... and put a drop of it on your front door step.

I GUARENTEE that in a matter of MINUTES you’ll have “wild bees” robbing every drop.

You’ll see.

“Do You Remove Them Away Without Exterminating Them?”

ANSWER: Yes, of course. We take them “live” ALL the time.

BUT, the real question is: When is it possible and actually “practical?”

The best possible time to take bees “live” would be when they haven’t made too much honeycomb. OR, when they’re making a cluster-like “ball” on a tree… or a bush somewhere.

In some cases, it isn’t practical to relocate a hive to another HOME when they’ve already made a home (or, honeycomb). This will only force a situation where bees become very MEAN and swarm DEFENSIVELY in order to protect and keep their hive safe from any intruders.

SO, there’s no way to be sure “over the phone” if your bees are going to be controllable enough for a live removal, but it looks to me that “established” or “africanized bees” are MUCH harder to relocate successfully.

Either way, you be the judge, and act accordingly.

“Is There A Warranty?”

ANSWER: No. There are TWO of them.

The first is a 30 day 100% “No Questions, No Hassles” warranty. This is primarily “exterminations” and “live removals" on bushes, trees, birdhouses… pretty much everything that is “non-structural” and without too much honeycomb.

On the other hand, if the hive is “structural” and somewhere in your wall, roof, or chimney and has been there for up to one week, and beyond, then I offer a 1-year warranty AFTER the honeycomb has been pulled out and your structure repaired.

The second is a 1-year “100% warranty” that I offer to customers who want some “bee-proofing” done to their homes.

To do this, and to make sure this service is a good “fit” for you, I’d like to inspect your property FIRST so that I can walk you through, step-by-step, on the different options that are available.
